Fort Myers, FL — Sonja L. O’Hearn, 96, went home to God on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at her home, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born in Gothenberg, Sweden on March 6, 1917, to Karl E. and Selma K. (Andersson) Lundberg. The family came to America in 1920, and settled in Rockport, MA, where she graduated from Rockport High School, class of 1934, where she was a “jumping center” on the basketball team, and was voted best dancer in her class. She went on to pursue her career as a beautician and graduated from Lorraine Beauty Academy. She resided and worked in Gloucester as a hairdresser for many years.
