Rochester, NH — Paul Douglas Dexter, born in Gloucester, Mass., on March 22, 1942 passed away peacefully on March 19, 2014, at his home in Rochester, N.H. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Eleanor Dexter; and his sister, Norma Dexter of Gloucester. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Alice Pierce Dexter of Rochester; his daughter, Heidi Lynne Dexter of Haverhill, Mass.; and his son, Paul Douglas Dexter Jr., daughter in-law, Katherine Dexter and his two granddaughters, Emma and Nora Dexter of North Yarmouth, Maine. He is also survived by eight siblings: Judith Dexter of Walnut Creek, Calif..; Clark Dexter, and wife, Jeraldine, of Gloucester, Stephen Dexter and wife, Dawn, of South Hamilton, Susan Sullivan and husband, Thomas, of Gloucester, Christina Rhodes and husband, Richard, of Gloucester, Kathleen Hurlburt and husband, Arthur, of Gloucester, Rebecca Aliberti and husband, Francis, of West Lake Village, Calif., and Roberta Dexter of Gloucester; and many nieces and nephews.
