Gloucester, MA — Born in Washington, D.C., May 10, 1932, Virginia passed away quietly, surrounded by family, on April 24, 2014 at 81-years-old. Virginia lived in Torrington, Conn. working at the W.M.C.A., as a secretary and swimming instructor and at the Torrington High School, in the guidance department. She moved to Gorham, N.H. in 1956. She worked at the Gorham High School and at the Appalachian Mountain Club. In 1974, she moved to Naples, Fla., working for many prominent families as household manager and cook. In 1985, she married Arnold W. Ellis, Sr. and moved to Gloucester. Her children include, Kim D. Moulton of Gorham, N.H., Kevin C. Daniels and wife, Lena of Shelburne, N.H., and Kerrie K. Westerlund of Berlin, N.H., stepchildren, Sheila E. Coffin of Falmouth, Maine, Bertram Ellis and Winifred Ellis of Gloucester. She was predeceased by Arnold W. Ellis, Sr., Arnold W. Ellis Jr., Donald R. Ellis and Beverly McCarron.
