Lisa Ann Beauparlant passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Monday, February 20, 2017, just shy of her 39th birthday. Lisa was born on March 6, 1978, in Gloucester, Mass. She was the daughter of Linda Beauparlant Dumais and her husband, Robert L. Dumais, who was like a father to her, and the late Joseph P. Beauparlant, who passed away in 1985. She was the beloved and proud mother of Kayla Elisabeth James Lane, who was the apple of her eye. If you spent any time with Lisa you would always be brought up to date on Kayla's accomplishments in college. Lisa attended Gloucester public schools, Essex Aggie High School and North Shore Community College, where she maintained a 3.95 GPA, which earned her induction into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Lisa was also the recipient of the 2007 Wellspring Foundation scholarship for continuing education and the 2007 Carolyn O'Connor scholarship from the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce Business Women's Committee. Lisa loved to read, especially historical novels, and always had at least one book with her if not more. Lisa also loved animals of all kinds, but was especially dedicated to her own cats, Harley and Munchkin, whom she doted on. Besides her mother, stepfather and daughter, Lisa is survived by her brothers, John E. Belcher, Jr. of Gloucester, Michael Beauparlant of Rumford, R.I., and his wife, Lois and daughter, Natalie; her sisters, Jennifer Benjamin of Manchester, N.H., Joette Chouinard and her son, Drew of Gloucester, Aimee Noseworthy and her daughter, Vanessa of Gloucester. She is also survived by her very special niece, Hayley Michaud and her daughter, Harper Willow of Hooksett, N.H.; and two very special nephews, Noah Michaud of Manchester, N.H., and Jacob Belcher of Gloucester, Mass.; and too many cousins to list individually but she loved you all. Fly with the angels, we will never forget you. At Lisa's request, there will be no wake or funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Lisa's name to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930. Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester. For online condolences, please visit www.greelyfuneralhome.com.
