GLOUCESTER: Pamela J. (Cabral) Mazzeo, 41, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 25, 2012.
Born in Gloucester on December 18, 1970, she was the daughter of Karen (Knowles) Cabral and the late Albert Cabral. A lifelong resident of Gloucester, she was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1988.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Keith and Kevin Mazzeo; a daughter, Lindsey Mazzeo; her former spouse, Todd Mazzeo; a sister, Kimberly Pereen; two nephews, Michael and Andy Pereen; a niece, Magen Pereen and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also predeceased by her aunt, Marilyn Gallant and her grandmothers, Evelyn Knowles and Edna Cabral.
Her funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pamela Mazzeo Memorial Fund, c/o Renee Librow at Rockport National Bank, 4 Parker St., Gloucester, MA 01930.

GLOUCESTER: Freeman M. Rogers, 92, formerly of Beverly, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Eileen (Cronin) Rogers, who died in June of 2011. They had shared sixty years of marriage.
Born in Gloucester on February 1, 1920, he was the son of the late John and Ellen (Buchanan) Rogers. He was a graduate of the Gloucester High School class of 1939, where he was a proud member of the ROTC band.
A U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of the
336th Bombardment Squadron and served as an airplane mechanic and gunner. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant in February 1946.
Freeman and Eileen had resided in Beverly most of their lives. He had been employed for many years as a milk man for Sunnyhurst Diary. He later worked in sales for the Burner Supply Company in Beverly. His final employment was for Gordon College as a maintenance worker, where he remained until his retirement.
He was a longtime member and past commander of the Amvets Post #32 of Gloucester, as well as the Scottish Rite and The Tyrian-Ashler-Acacia Lodge, A.F. & A.M. of Gloucester.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. He was also predeceased by his three sisters, Ellen Collum, Margaret DeCoste, Carole Cote and brother Franklyn Rogers.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday morning in the Beechbrook Cemetery at 10 a.m. There are no visiting hours.
