Together they shared 34 years of marriage. She was the daughter of Louise Poole and the late Richard Poole. She grew up in Rockport and graduated from Rockport High School in 1969.

Gloucester, MA — Howard Jackson Richardson died Friday evening, July 26, 2013, at the Den-Mar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockport, Mass. He was born in Newton, Mass., on January 18, 1933, and was the son of William Richardson and Mildred (Dumas) Richardson. He graduated from Newton High in 1951, and then attended Massachusetts College of Art, where he met and married his first wife, Ann Trotter.

GLOUCESTER: Sebastian J. “Busty” Frontiero, 76, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in the Den Mar Nursing & Rehab. Center, surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness. He was the husband of Marianne F. (Krupski) Frontiero.
Born in Gloucester on January 8, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph “Cigar Joe” and Josephine (Scola) Frontiero. He attended Gloucester public schools and was a lifelong resident of Gloucester. He had also served in the U.S. Army from 1960 – 1962 at the former, Fort Eustis in Virginia.
Busty worked as a fisherman aboard the “Cigar Joe” and had skippered the “Cigar Joe 2” for many years. Following his fishing days, he went to work in the family construction business along with his son. In retirement he enjoyed wood carving and was especially known for his carving of jewelry from haddock nape bone. He enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid Patriots fan, almost never missing a game. He especially cherished caring for his two pugs, Missy and Casey.
In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, he is survived by three daughters, Christina “Tina” Russell and her husband, Scott of Rockport, Maria Murphy and Josephine Cary and her husband, Daniel all of Gloucester; two sons, Joseph “Jay” Frontiero and Salvatore Frontiero and his wife, Nicole (Gately) all of Gloucester; fourteen grandchildren, Dylan, Curtis and Shayla Russell, Joseph “Jay” Frontiero, Joshua Carnevale, Jaimie Lee Frontiero, Crystal Arsenault and her husband, Dennis, Shane, Branden and Marissa Murphy, Nathaniel and Annaliese Frontiero and Daniel and Jolene Cary; two great-granddaughters, Amber Frontiero and Callie Arsenault; a sister, Maryann Favalora and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Angelina Ciaramitaro, Rosalie Gagliano and Ann Prevost and a brother, Salvatore “Sammy” Frontiero.
His memorial service will be held on Wednesday at the Cape Ann Bible Church, Thompson St., (off Concord St.) Gloucester at 10 a.m. followed by a celebration in the church hall. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930.

Manchester by the Sea — Marilyn J. (Easton) Wheelock, 80, of Manchester, wife of the late Philip J. Wheelock, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2013, surrounded by her family, friends and beloved dogs. She was born in Plainville, Conn., on January 4, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Linda (Brown) Eaton. Marilyn was the youngest of 5 daughters born to Frank and Linda. She was “the surprise” baby of the family having been born 18 years later than her closest sibling. She worked for many years at Stanley Works in New Britain, Conn., as a Human Resources Manager. She moved to Magnolia/Manchester in 1960 and loved the area so much she decided to stay. She was a hostess for many years at the Surf Restaurant where she met and married her husband, Phil. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed tennis, boating, traveling and especially entertaining friends and family at the beach. After raising her daughter, Marilyn worked for many years in advertising with the Essex County Newspapers. After leaving there she found what would be her true calling as the Assistant Town Clerk in Manchester. Once she retired, she and Phil took some time to travel before his death in 2006.
